Option 1:  Mini-Implants

  1. 4 to 6 mini-implants required

Option 2:  Implant Overdenture

  1. 2 to 4 dental implants; can use locator abutments, ball abutments or a bar.

  2. Movement of the denture is still possible during function

  3. Implants osseointegrate  resulting in a very high degree of success

Option 3:  Implant Over-Denture with Hader Bar

  1. 4 to 6 dental implants

  2. very high degree of retention; usually no movement during function

  3. predictable esthetics

  4. very high degree of success

Option 4:  Implant supported fixed partial denture

  1. 6-10 dental implants

  2. may require bone grafting

  3. Best of all options under function

  4. Challenging prosthetics and esthetics

  5. largest financial investment for patient

The options listed above range from least to most involved.
